Hannah Lee Fowler, the pregnant wife of Sam Hunt, a country singer, has filed for divorce while alleging that he cheated on her.
According to reports, the wife filed for divorce just months before she is due to give birth to the couple’s first child.
Fowler said that her husband, who is 37 years old, was guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and adultery in the documents that she filed on February 18, 2022, in Tennessee, USA.
The documents stated:
“[Fowler believes] that all hopes of reconciliation are exhausted.”
The couple got married in April 2017 and they have not publicly announced that they were expecting a baby.
The documents revealed that Fowler, who is currently 33, is pregnant and is due in May of this year.
Right now, she is asking for alimony, child support, and primary custody of the child.
Fowler herself or a representative of Hunt have not released an official comment or statement on the divorce and the cheating allegations.
Hunt recently expressed interest in growing their family, telling KISS Country 99.9 Miami’s TC & DIna Radio Show in July last year that he and Fowler were having serious talks about having kids.
He said during the interview:
“I hope so. We’ve been talking about it for a while, but we’ve really started thinking about it seriously here these past few months, so that’s on the agenda right now and I’m hoping that we’ll have some good news sooner than later.”
He also told PEOPLE in September of last year that his wife was no longer charmed by a song when he found himself in the doghouse.
Hunt and Fowler were supposed to celebrate their th wedding anniversary in April this year.
No other information is available about Hunt and Fowler’s divorce.
