Jeff Johnson, who is also known as the famous reptile dealer that was featured in “Tiger King”, has passed away at the age of 58 by suicide.
The police confirmed Jeff Johnson death earlier today, which happened in front of a family member.
Jeff made an appearance in episode 4 of Tiger King, which can be streamed on Netflix.
The Oklahoma City Police Department said that Johnson passed away on September 8, 2021, by suicide after an argument with his wife in their home’s garage.
Johnson was in front of his wife when he committed suicide, which the police said happened by shooting himself.
The report that was released by the police states that Johnson’s wife called 911 right after Jeff committed suicide inside their home’s garage.
When the police arrived at the scene, he had a pulse, however, he was pronounced DUA (dead upon arrival) at a local hospital.
The police said that the children of the couple were also home when the incident happened.
The police are yet to release a statement that would confirm or deny if Johnson had any mental illnesses prior to their death.
