In the previous pair of decades, little satellites recognized as CubeSats have proliferated, enabling far more organizations to swiftly establish spacecraft centered on a standardized layout in which each cube is 10 centimeters, or four inches, in size. CAPSTONE is amid the greatest, with a volume of 12 cubes, but Sophisticated Space was ready to buy it, practically off-the-shelf, from Terran Orbital.

Mr. Cheetham is imagining about what could occur upcoming, most likely far more missions to the moon, possibly for NASA or other commercial partners. He’s also wondering farther out.
