Alberta Express Entry Stream
Alberta Express Entry is the stream aligned with PNP that comes under this category. The candidates selected through the Alberta Express Entry Stream should have valid work experience in an eligible occupation in the region. The occupation should help in a positive contribution to the province’s economic development.
The AINP has a list of occupations it does not consider. Thus, it should be checked before proceedings. On November 1, 2020, in the Alberta province, the federal government had increased the number of occupations that were not eligible to be evaluated for a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) in Alberta. Those candidates who received a Notification of Interest on or after November 1, 2020, can be selected Alberta Express Entry Stream, even if they are working in an occupation that the federal government will not process an LMIA for.

What are the Eligibility Requirements to be selected for AINP?
Those candidates who meet the eligibility requirements are selected for immigration through the Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP). The following are the requirement of selection in Alberta.
♣ The candidate should have continuous and full-time employment opportunities from an Alberta business.
♣ An understanding of the craft is essential
♣ The applicant needs to meet the minimum language score requirement in any of the two official languages
♣ The candidate should have an intention of working and living in Alberta.
♣ There should be a proper work permit and also adequate documents.
♣ The occupation of the candidate should be in one of the NOC O, A, or B categories.
♣ Medical and police verification is a must requirement for immigration.
♣ The education of the applicant should be as per the occupation for which the candidate has applied for immigration.
