America’s Got Talent: Jane Marczewski Dies After Losing Cancer Battle

Jane Marczewski, a singer who appeared in America’s Got Talent, has tragically passed away after losing their battle against cancer.

Jane, who was given the nickname Nightbride, earned tons of followers after she appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. 

Her family recently confirmed that she passed away after a battle with cancer.

The family of Jane released a statement to NBC, saying:

“We, her family, are devastated by her passing and unimaginable loss. Those who knew her, enjoyed her larger-than-life personality and sense of humor. She had a witty joke for every occasion—even if the joke was on her. Her lasting legacy will be the gift of hope she gave to so many through her music and the strength she found in Jesus. We thank everyone for their messages of love and support.”

The family of Marczewski said that she had been battling cancer for 4 years and passed away on February 19, 2022. 

The singer went viral on social media after she delivered a stunning audition o nAmerica’s Got Talent and for performing her original song named “It’s Ok”. 

During her performance on AGT (America’s Got Talent), she told the judges and the audience that she was battling cancer that had spread to her lungs, spine, and liver. 

She also managed to impress Simon Cowell with the positive vibe that she was carrying around with her. 

At one point, she told the judges: 

“You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.”

Because of her amazing performance and will to fight through life, Simon Cowell, a judge at the show, decided to award Jane the golden buzzer, which automatically sent her to the next round of the competition.

However, at one point she was forced to drop out of the competition and during an interview, she said that it was really amazing to see everyone loving the song that she wrote.

While talking about how people reacted to sher song OK, She said: 

“It beautiful to see the world welcome that song into their own dark night. I’m overwhelmed by it.”

AGT released a statement about the death of Jane where they said: 

“Your voice, your story, and your message touched millions. Nightbirde will always be a member of the ‘AGT’ family. Rest In Peace, Jane.”
